First of, if you have problems logging in at PinoyTop10.com, here are some no-brainer reasons why you cannot login:
- You forgot your username or password
- You have not confirmed your email address
- You have not activated your account (new signup process)

Here is a typical story for most of our voters who cannot login here at PinoyTop10.com.
You signed up probably yesterday or some days ago. Everything worked well, you voted and you logged out. So far so good. You waited after 24 hours, you came back and tried to log in. Failed. You keep shouting on our Shoutbox to ask why, you stress yourself and freak out and then think and spread to everyone we are not fair, etc. etc.
This is a frequent problem so we decided to dedicate an update on this issue to tell you what are the reasons why it happened. Here’s why…
First, let me tell you, Dear Members, that this site, PinoyTop10.com has rules to follow by our members and we maintain such rules to keep order and fairness to this site. You come here to support your candidates, we offer you our free online polls and we serve you to the best we can for FREE so one of the things we expect from you is to follow the rules at PinoyTop10.
One of our very first rule at PinoyTop10, which, by the way, has been implemented since the very beginning (our oldest members can attest to this) is that a voter cannot have multiple accounts. In our Rules, Guidelines and Policies page which you can find at http://www.pinoytop10.com/rules.php (opens on a new window) it is clearly stated that:
“You are permitted a maximum of one account, active or inactive, regardless of how many companies or organization you represent. If you choose to ignore this important restriction, all your accounts will be disabled. Our system may not prevent you to create multiple accounts but will detect it thereafter and may block it automatically.”
Now if you have violated the rules, then we are sorry, your account or accounts will be blocked or disabled and you will not be able to login. If you have NOT ignored our rules, you should be OK. This is the default control within our system and we review all new sign ups every so often to make sure that what has not been detected by the system will be taken cared of by human hands.
Of course you will be clever to try again, sign up anew and use other credentials and information. But rest assured we will detect it and your account or accounts will be blocked again.
WHY WE DO THIS? Who are we to do this to anyone?
Think about it for a moment…
What will you think of this site if we won’t police our members? What will you think of us if we just let some folks mock around the voting system and play around with our results? Even now, as it is, when we are this strict in administering the polls, you are still thinking so many bad things about us and this site, how much more if you see that we are so lax about any violations and cheating issue???
As Administrators of the site, we reserve the right to do whatever it takes to make sure your votes are counted and protected from some unscrupulous individuals. If you have not read it, please see our Rules on the link above and our Terms of Service and Usage at http://www.pinoytop10.com/tos.php (will open on a new window) as it is clearly stated there. The good thing about automating our online anti-cheat system is that it will be neutral to everyone and anyone in particular. It’s basic algorithm is simple, if you create multiple accounts, your account or accounts will be blocked.
Remember that although we do love to have you here on our site, we did not force you to sign up and we did not ask you to pay anything to use our web services. Signing up and participating here in our online polls is YOUR decision not ours. YOU are free to use or leave our site at any time you wish. The site, PinoyTop10.com, will just be here for those who want to participate. However, if you decide to join, you MUST follow the rules on the site and know that if you violate those rules, your account will be disabled.
Our service is FREE to everyone on the worldwide web. We spent our own time, money and resources on this site without asking you or anyone to pay us. We do not ask of any donations or contributions from you or from anyone. And more importantly, we are not supported by any company, institution, organization or personalities to run and maintain this site. All we ask of you, our Dear Members and visitors, in return for using our online service for free, is for you to follow the site rules and regulations.
So, if you DO NOT LIKE or AGREE with our rules, guidelines and policies as well as how we run and administer this site, please help yourself and spare yourself (and us) of unnecessary stress and disappointment – do NOT sign up and participate. It’s really that simple.
